Aug. 22, 1965 - In a press conference today, Minneapolis Police Inspector Donald R. Dwyer described his interactions with the Beatles, their entourage, and fans amidst a midnight curfew being enforced last night while the British pop group was in town. The Beatles performed at Metropolitan Stadium in Bloomington, Minn. last night.
Dwyer reported that a girl had had to be removed from Paul McCartney’s motel room. The Inspector added that he “had no use” for the Beatles’ entourage “nor do I care if they ever return to Minneapolis, which they have threatened not to do.”
