College Algebra: Lecture 2: Properties of Real Numbers, Algebraic Expressions, Order of Operations

In this lecture, we look at the order of operations (PEMDAS), the properties of the real numbers such as the commutative, associative, an distributive properties as well as identities and inverses. We conclude the lecture by looking at algebraic expressions, how to evaluate them and how to simplify them. This lecture series will follow the OpenStax College Algebra 2e text.
