College Algebra Lecture 6: How to Factor Polynomials

In this lecture, we look at how to factor polynomials. We look at greatest common factors, trinomial factoring, factor by grouping, perfect square trinomials, the difference of squares, the sum and difference of cubes, and factoring expressions that have fractional and negative exponents. This lecture series will follow the OpenStax College Algebra 2e text.
