Atheism Religion - We gather in no ones name

We Gather in No One’s Name
We lift our hearts to the open sky,
No gods above, no throne on high.
The stars themselves are our guiding light,
Born from the dark, in the endless night.

Hallelujah to nothing at all,
No heaven to reach, no hell to fall.
We sing our truth, the cosmos wide,
In reason and wonder we take pride.

The laws of nature are all we see,
The dance of atoms sets us free.
From dust we came, to dust we’ll go,
And in between, let love still grow.

Hallelujah to nothing at all,
No prophets to heed, no sacred call.
We walk this path, our minds awake,
No ancient chains for us to break.

No prayer, no creed, no holy rite,
Just shared existence in the night.
We build our meaning, hand in hand,
Across the seas, upon the land.
Praise Richard Dawkins for writing The God Delusion,
It opened up our eyes, and shattered the illusion.
Praise Christopher Hitchens for writing God Is Not Great,
A world without religion, where science shapes our fate.

Hallelujah to nothing at all,
Yet still we rise, yet still we stand tall.
The universe sings, though gods be gone,
