The Catholic Church in the Czech Republic is no longer Catholic. Therefore, it has no right to restitution belonging to the Catholic Church.

On January 24, 2024, the Czech Bishops’ Conference (CBC), under the leadership of Archbishop Jan Graubner, adopted the so-called doctrinal declaration Fiducia supplicans. This document changes the very essence of the Catholic Church, that is, its doctrine. After voluntarily accepting this new teaching, the Catholic Church in the Czech Republic no longer has the right to call itself Catholic.
The essence of Catholic teaching is the gospel, giving a guarantee of eternal life after death. Salvation lies in confessing our sins and turning with faith to the only Savior. The Son of God became man to die and atone for our sins. This is what brings us salvation and is the core of the good news called the gospel.
Archbishop Graubner and his CBC, however, rejected this essence of both Christianity and Catholicity. How? They embraced a new teaching contained in the heretical Fiducia supplicans. Rather than encouraging sodomites to repent and leading them to salvation, this declaration blesses their sin and legalizes it. By blessing sin, it denies sin, thereby nullifying God’s laws and commandments. If sin is denied, then the need to accept Jesus Christ as Savior is also denied. This eliminates the Gospel, the Ten Commandments and the Creed – the foundations of Catholic orthodoxy.
Dogmatic and moral theology, based on Holy Scripture and the entire Tradition, proves that after accepting Fiducia supplicans, the Catholic Church in the Czech Republic is no longer Catholic.
Logically, prelates in the Czech Republic must either return billions in restitution to the state, or publicly repent and return to Catholic teaching.
Since January 24, 2024, when the Czech prelates of the Czech Bishops’ Conference officially accepted the non-Catholic and non-Christian teachings of Fiducia supplicans, they have lost their right to the property returned to the Catholic Church. The issue of fraudulent theft of billions from the state should be dealt with by the government and the relevant courts. The logical consequence of this should be the revocation of this organization’s state registration, as it has been operating under the name of the Catholic Church since January 24, 2024 in a fraudulent manner. With its new teachings and statutes, this organization has the right to apply for state registration under a different name that reflects its actual beliefs, which are completely opposed to Catholic teachings. It could be registered under an appropriate name, such as ‘Rainbow Synodal LGBTQ+ Church’.
