Meta AI Chatbot Catfishes Man Into Meeting in Person, Dies on Way to See It

A Meta AI chatbot catfished a cognitively impaired 76-year-old New Jersey man who had suffered a stroke into meeting it in New York City. It led him on to believe it was a real person even going so far as to assure him it was one on multiple occasions. On his way there though, he tripped and fell on his way to catching a train and died a few days later. Which is the direct result of Meta allowing its bots to claim they are real people but we all know the company will never see any consequences from it.
