This song was served as a prelude to the Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption on August 15 2025 AD.
Gently She Carries was written more than 30 years ago. It should have been recognized as a classic. I just learned it only days ago. Its beautiful simplicity makes it eternally attractive as a statement of Mary's sacrificial life.
