The Denisovans were archaic human sea farers. They migrated through bodies of water on rafts and primitive boats all over what later European traders & explorers called "The East Indies".

Assuming the theory that Denisovans and Neanderthals expressed animistic spirituality. This video is a hypothesis about an animistic Denisovan or Neanderthal totem to the "Great Sea Spirit".

In this dramatisation they would set up the totem before embarking on a migratory voyage, so that the Great Sea Spirit would show them favour.
