Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 87

Welcome. Missed another giant zucchini in the foliage yesterday and almost missed our deep green zucchini this morning which would have grown too big as well, but not its for supper.

The beans continue to provide just enough for a side meal. I doubt I will can them this year. Just not enough,

One of the squash vines is dying off, hopefully just being choked out rather than a vine bore. At this point, it’s hoping the squashes that have started in August will grow big enough to eat before winter storage.

The in ground potatoes continue to do much better than the raised bed potatoes. The pepper plants continue to pepper and I’m going to have to decide what to do with them.

Butch has three flowers with more on the way and the corner Giant Sunflower has opened up fully.
