Putin 'probably laughing all the way home', says former defense secretary

Former defense secretary Ben Wallace has told Sky News that Vladimir Putin was the big winner after the summit in Alaska.

He said: "Putin got all the points out of it. Putin got the red carpet treatment, he effectively got an American warm handshake coming out of the cold.

"This is a man who is already indicted in 100 countries and was probably laughing all the way home."
