Douglas V Gibbs joined me as we continue our review of Madison's Notes from the Constitutional Convention of 1787.

Today's episode was one of the more fun ones, as the Founders shot down a couple of silly ideas while continuing the debate on whether there should be a federal negative of State laws and whether apportionment in the National Legislature should be based on population or divided equally among States no matter the size.

Our featured Founding Father was New Jersey's David Brearley, the real Father of Judicial Review.
