It was never God’s perfect will that death would be in the body for huemanity. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

Here in this verse “Death” is personified as an enemy of God and of Man. Death entered the World through willful disobedience. It is through the willful obedience of Christ who gave his life willingly conquers death
