Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords (PS2 - 2007) Druid playthrough 4/29

An RPG where the battles are head-to-head match-3.
Before re-entering Quest Mode, I level up my hero from the main menu. After finishing off the Slavers quest, I build a Forge, which allows you to create items to equip in battle. While I never found any of the items created to be useful, it does add a variation to the standard match-3 puzzle. The Forge also opens up the Runekeepers to defeat in order to collect the different runes needed for each type of item. I get my 2nd companion by freeing Princess Serephine rather than taking her to her arranged marriage. Back in my Citadel, I build a Seige Workshop, which allows you to capture other cities. The Citadel can be accessed whenever your hero is in a captured city. Plus, the captured cities generate gold that you can collect by traveling to or through them. I then build a Temple, which allows you to buy skill increases. I end up with several failures at the new aspects, twice failing against Runekeepers and twice failing to capture cities.
