The Israeli Navy struck a power plant south of the Houthi-controlled capital of Yemen, Sanaa, this morning, according to an Israeli defense official.

Local media reported large explosions in the area that knocked generators out of service.

There is no immediate official comment from the IDF on the strike.

It marks the second time that the Israeli Navy has struck in Yemen, after an attack on the Houthi-controlled Hodeida port in June.
