517 Gospel of Matthew Chapter 5

Properly interpreting scripture requires understanding that the books and letters of the Bible were written for us but not to us. Understanding the context of who Jesus was speaking to and who Matthew was writing to, helps us understand their intended meanings. In this chapter I also touch on the chronology then we focus on the way Jesus destroys the false doctrine that we need to obey the Mosaic Law.
