Episode 1114: Understanding God's purpose for this current world Part 2

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we examine the finished work of Christ as presented to us in the scriptures.

What does that actually means? It means that everything written in the Bible is about one person and one person only. Not only is it about one person, it is that person's will and purpose.

Will you listen to the Most High God as I highlight a few points from this passage regarding what is the true message that the Lord is communicating to us.

Ephesians 1:3-12 (NKJV) 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING (notice that it is a single blessing - this is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, now notice the location) IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES (now notice how it is dispersed) IN CHRIST,

4 just as HE CHOSE US (no one chooses God, now notice the location) IN HIM (now notice when this actually took place in God's eyes) BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD (prior to the creation of the world not earth, God did not wait on you to make a decision), (here now is God's purpose) that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

5 (here is how God did it) having predestined us to (here is what God did) adoption as sons (here is how God adopted us) by Jesus Christ to Himself, (here is why God adopted us) according to the GOOD PLEASURE OF HIS WILL (not mine, not yours, not the angels),

6 (here is the purpose of the adoption) TO THE PRAISE OF THE GLORY OF HIS GRACE, (here is the effects of adoption) by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

7 (here is the location of redemption) In Him we have redemption (the payment for being conceived in sin can only be paid) THROUGH HIS BLOOD, (here is the effect of that payment by Christ to God) THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, (here is how God made this accessible for us) according to the riches of His grace

8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom (God gave you the revelation to believe) and prudence (God gave you the understanding to believe),

9 (here is the result of you having God's wisdom & understanding) having made known to us (we now KNOW God) the mystery of His will (not our will), (here is why God did it) according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself,
10 (here is the details of that purpose in the new heavens, new Jerusalem, and new earth) that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven (holy angels) and which are on earth (a nation - Israel & a people - all believers) —(where are they) in Him.

11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined (predetermined) (why did God predetermine to save only us) according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will (because He is sovereign and does only that which pleases Himself, that is the cause),

12 (here is the effects of the sovereign ultimate purpose of the Most High God) THAT WE WHO FIRST TRUSTED IN CHRIST SHOULD BE TO THE PRAISE OF HIS GLORY. (at first it was for the glory of His grace in salvation Now it is for His glory as witnesses in the new world).

Friends, that is what the Bible teaches and God is not apologizing because we mere specks of dust don't understand the infinite wisdom of the Most High God!
