Rearing Monarch Butterflies

Providing an update on some of my Monarch caterpillars. (I love the TikTok recording app! Facebook needs to step up their game 😂)

This is kind of a long video but it is well worth the watch. This video is loaded with educational information and a little entertaining as well.

No matter who you are this is an incredible experience! Rearing butterflies isn't just for children. This is a real effort to help keep the Monarch Butterfly off of the endangered species list. They are at risk and are desperately trying to survive. Between loss of habitat, climate change and chemical sprays it is not an easy journey for them.

This is my 5th season and every year I learn something new. This journey has not only helped impact the Monarch population in a positive way, it has also impacted my life in a positive way. I am very passionate about this journey and the healing effects that it was created for me.

It is my hope that others will get involved. You do not have to take it as far as I do. All you have to do is plant native milkweed. Please check your state laws before you get started.
