A Moment of Reflection

This time I added field recording to my music. The location I chose was at our local reserve park: MacRitchie Reservoir. And it happened to be a rainy day. I was about to cancel the trip, and I changed my mind. I think I shouldn’t let the weather dictate what I can or cannot do. So, with my rain-jacket and an umbrella, I rode down the road against this moody weather and eventually arrived at the location where I can at least be shelter under a roof. A small platform that stretches out to the water and to my left I was greeted with this view which you can see from the beginning of the video. I set up my gear and go to work. I also added a section of the ambiance recording at the back after the music end. For those who like to listen to it can skip right to the marked frame. I wish you well in whatever weather you are in. If we can change our environment, we can at least change our thinking to a better perspective.
