Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 89

Welcome. As expected, it’s 11C this morning. I already miss summer. It’s not warming up until Friday, maybe, and even then the highs for the weekend are only in the high 20’s.

The Raspberry bush is done, the pepper plants continue to be raided for canning, and the tomatoes are ripening on the vine.

The Zucchinis continue to be sneaky, having missed more than ½ a dozen this year into exploded growth, while the canning continues to be re-filled with them.

The carrots I need to cultivate, and the potatoes are slowly being dug up to consume with the pitiful bean production this year. The Kale bush will last until the snow flies, and even then, it might survive the winter if covered to start new shoots in the spring.

The July replanted onions continue to grow as do the squash boxes.

The front box is looking grand, and Butch has been propped up away from the wall after getting a little top heavy.

With the sun rising later, the train keeps making an appearance during filming, so watch for that. Yes, watch.
