CHILDBEARING: Midwives and Doulas

A midwife is a biblical office of seeing, or attending to, a woman during labour. A birth doula is a person who comforts you during your childbearing season without giving any medical assistance. If you are a married couple seeking to receive the promise in I Timothy 2:15 for the woman's deliverance, then you need to make sure that anyone you allow to attend the birth is GOD-FEARING.
