Pickled Radishes

1 tablespoon of black peppercorns, optional
1 cup hot water

Instructions 
* Slice rinsed radishes (knife or mandolin)
* In a large measuring cup or glass bowl, combine apple cider vinegar, salt, sugar, and hot water. Stir to dissolve the sugar and salt.
* Put the radishes in the pickling mixture and let it set for an hour. After an hour, put the radishes in a jar, cover and store in the fridge for up to three weeks with liquid.
