Zelenskyy Visits White House For Peace Talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited President Donald Trump to future peace talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump and Zelensky are now meeting with European leaders to discuss an end to the war in Ukraine. These key leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, arrived at the White House on Monday afternoon. “What is very important is that all the sensitive things...we will discuss on the level of leaders during a trilateral meeting, and President Trump will try to organize such a meeting,” Zelensky said. “And he said that he will come or not come — Ukraine will be happy if you participate.” “If you both want me there, I will be there,” Trump responded. Trump said the leaders will discuss “possible exchanges of territory” and security guarantees for Ukraine. Trump is set to speak with Putin later today.
