Daycare Worker Given Bond In Child Abuse Case, Judge Receives Threats

A Bainbridge, Georgia daycare worker, Yvette Thurston, was charged with aggravated battery and child abuse. After a judge granted her a $44,000 bond, the judge began receiving death threats. The district attorney condemned both the alleged abuse and the threats, warning that anyone making threats will be prosecuted. The state’s childcare agency is also investigating.
