X4 foundations 7.60 with completed Timelines and Hyperion DLC. Young Guns start.

Couldn't find a SCA station to do look for data leaks. Started looking for the Hyperion.

The autopilot almost got me killed when it decided to cut the travel drive with the Xenon in pursuit. The Hyperion came with a Theseus which sold for over 1 million. I also sold my starting Elite. With that I could afford to buy the much more agile Nodan.

When I sold the Elite while I was still in a spacesuit next to it, I got dragged along. I also managed to locate the Odysseus Vanguard. The Segaris Pioneers are doing research on terraforming. We help out.

Did a mission to help the Pioneers gather data. Obtained item Boso Ta needed to start research on ship modification.

I was able to follow Nila Ti to the Provinces Adrift. There we met with Leda We who would not agree to allow ALI to seek contact with Kingdom End. I also bought 4 Nodans to help explore the various sectors.

Leda We agree to the ALI exploration of the Provinces Adrift with assurances of tightened security and not to provoke the Kha'ak.

Buying some Mining ships to mine for credits and reputation with Argon.

This mission is dangerous if you do not have a fast ship that can avoid the Kha'ak.

Doing "Astronomical Observations" mission for Boso Ta, setting up my mining ships for auto mining. Long dialog chain revealing Boso Ta's story. Running away from the Boron police to avoid being caught with contraband. Coming back to finish bombing the asteroid and completing the mission chain. Observing the very symmetrical and rather unnatural looking magnetar formation which somehow had something to do with the jump gates. Reporting this to Numanckaret results in a breakthrough for opening the jumpgate towards Kingdom End. Defended the ALI fleet against the Kha'ak. Started using the Dart to collect drops from the battlefield in Hatikvah. Continue to expand my vision and lifting the fog of war in the various sectors. Head towards an audience with the Boron Queen.

Looked for items such as programmable field array that are needed to complete the mission to obtain the original Hyperion. Also looked for EMP bombs which would be used to obtain blueprints through data leaks.

I completely forgot I needed to research the ability to steal blueprints using EMP bombs.

I forgot that I need to research hacking the different modules in order to steal blueprints using EMP bombs. That is why I couldn't get blueprints off the data leaks created by the EMP bombs. I only really did 1 more step in the Hatikvah mission chain. You may want to skip this video.

I sold the Programmable Field Arrays forgetting that I was supposed to turn 3 of them in for the mission that gets me the original Hyperion. I modified the Chasis of the Dart reducing the drag (I am not sure there is drag in the vacuum of space) giving it a rather significant boost in performance. I also bought the blueprints for Argon Large Container and Argon Large Liquid Storage. Then had a Large Container built in Headquarters, allowing me to store materials needed for research. I built some freighters and setup travel restrictions for them.

While attempting to complete a mission in the Hatikvah chain, I was directed to bomb an SCA freeport which I discovered in a new sector. That SCA freeport was surrounded by multiple Xenon Hs and Xenon Ks. I have never seen anything like it. I decided to give up on the mission for the time being and tried to obtain the Hyperion instead. That's when I discovered I made the mistake of selling all my Programmable Field Arrays.

Continue the mission to sabotage the SCA. Claimed the abandoned Perseus and sold it.

One of the more boring Hatikvah missions where you patrol and follow an SCA ship.

We continue to tail the SCA for Hatikvah. Bought another freighter, gathered research materials and started research. Need to acquire lodestone to continue mission line.

The Boron decided to build a highway system through the Sanctuary of Darkness with the intention of avoiding conflict with the Kha'ak. The Kha'ak attacked while the highway is being constructed. This is the beginning of a fairly long mission to defend the Boron with a fair amount of cutscenes and dialog.

I ended up having to savescum when my Hydra was destroyed by the Kha'ak after I foolishly became isolated. In return for his efforts, Val Selton was rewarded with 750,000 credits and a 3 star Boron pilot was willing to join his faction.

Due to my ship getting stuck, I decided to stop Production Module Hack research and started Teleportation research instead in case I cannot get unstuck. Sent freighters to gather materials for research. Received inventory from drop collecting pilot. Gained Argon Rank. Upgraded the Odysseus. Completed mission to obtain the original Hyperion.

Changed logo. I sent the Dart out of system while leaving the Xperimental Shuttle docked in Hatikvah Trade station. I then teleported from the Dart to the Shuttle. Because I left the sector and came back the traders refreshed and I was able to find a lodestone. Thus I was able to advance to the next stage of the Hatikvah mission chain.

Protected the escape pods, found Dal Busta's wrecked ship and recovered a blackbox. Start mission to buy 50 Bofu for Boso Ta.

I finally got around to completing the mission to deliver 50 Bofu to Boso Ta. I recovered the abandoned Grouper in Watchful Gaze and promptly sold it back to the Boron. Dal Busta also showed up at Headquarters.

I was not planning to upload after episode 44 because my microphone was malfunctioning which meant I sound like I was mumbling in these videos. But I found out that new games started in patch 8.0 beta cannot access the Pioneer mission chain, the one that gives you the Moreya (Geometric Owl). I had patched X4 to 8.0 beta while recording this playthrough. As I wanted to explore patch 8.0 beta, I decided not to patch the game back to 7.60. At the same time I wanted to show people this interesting mission chain. I had completed the Pioneer mission chain in this playthrough and recorded the videos. So despite the audio defects, I decided to upload them. In this episode, I patrolled Zyarth stations in order to improve my reputation by catching criminals. I also run Zyarth missions where possible. Meanwhile Boso Ta is researching blueprint hacking. Stole Boron L Oasis blueprint. Building Scrap processing and recycling station. Built another Heron class Large Freighter.

Run the Pioneer mission chain. Build new Station at Heretic's End.

As the Hyperion is a large ship which has large shields capable of protecting it against the hazards of the void, I decided to us it to help run this mission.

The game has changed. No more flying ships through passageways meant for people which makes sense.

I failed a few times and had to reload.

They changed the gameplay on that mission a little bit, which threw me off. But it was changed for the better since it really didn't make sense for people to be able to fly ships through those narrow passages. The Geometric Owl is a Moreya. This ship used to be one of the best ships to run missions in. It has 4 weapons and is one of the fastest ships in the game. The Xperimental Shuttle however made the Moreya obsolete.
