Rebels armed with machetes kill at least 52 in eastern Congo

Islamic State-backed rebels armed with machetes and hoes killed at least 52 civilians, including eight women and two children, in the Beni and Lubero territories of eastern Congo in recent days, the UN told Reuters on Monday (August 18). Syakir Jasnee reports.
