Israel’s war just widened — and the pressure is mounting both abroad and at home.

Over the weekend, the Israeli military carried out a missile strike on a power station near Sanaa, Yemen, targeting Houthi infrastructure after repeated drone and missile launches from the group. Inside Gaza, Israel is preparing a push into Gaza City, the last Hamas stronghold, despite warnings that such an assault could endanger the remaining hostages and unleash massive civilian displacement. Meanwhile, Israel itself saw one of the largest protest waves since the war began, with tens of thousands flooding the streets to demand an end to the fighting and a deal to bring the hostages home. Police used water cannons, highways were blocked, and the anger is only growing.
