EA Wants to Make Battlefield an Annual Release Game Again!

Following the success of the Battlefield 6 Open Beta weekends, EA has big plans for resurrected franchise. Striking while the iron is hot and being classic EA, they have plans in motion to follow the blueprint of Call of Duty and make Battlefield an annual release title once again. Putting several teams on a protracted development cycle has made Activision Blizzard very rich, but it has also stifled creativity across the greater business. Will this happen to EA if they flip the switch?
