WASHINGTON (August 19, 2025)—To convict a criminal defendant, the prosecutor must establish each element of the offense beyond a reasonable doubt, and a police officer must first establish at least a reasonable suspicion to begin an investigative detention, and at least probable cause to warrant an arrest. However, what happens when you have a virus that beat Hitler, when every element of the offense had been implemented by the law, and the public had been told something else? Currentyly, this fact pattern is playing out in state and federal courts, and the free press that was supposed to provide a bulwark against tyranny is telling courts they have no duty to their viewers or the general public.

Who is this mysterious entity stirring trouble in court? None other than the only person in the nation to bring a case regarding the pandemic closures of public schools, but also the first to proceed to prosecute officials responsible for a pandemic and response that exceeded the death toll in the Holocaust.
