Blender blade not spinning, repairing damaged threads

This is how I repaired a broken Russell Hobbs 24721-56 food blender which had stripped threads inside the coupler gear that drives the blade.
The problem was that the motor was turning the coupling gear but the blade was not spinning.
The coupling is rubber and the threads that were stripped are aluminum.
I repaired it by installing a stainless steel M6 LH left hand nut inside the broken part to replace the damaged threads.
