B606 – Aug 17, 2025 Out of Context

In today’s church world, there are many non-Biblical ideas and concepts that are accepted as fact, when they should be rejected, since they are a result of Bible passages being taken out of Context.

In this Sunday Berean Study, we review several Bible concepts that many people believe that may be a result of not letting the Bible answer its own questions. They instead take isolated verses and make them into bad theology that contradicts the rest of the Bible.

God promises to help me with MY plans, God will give believers anything they desire, Pastors and religious leaders are above all questioning, and all authority must be obeyed, even civil and corrupt leaders. Believers can never judge the behavior of other believers or the unsaved. Males have been given special access to God, and females must rely on the men for their spiritual maturity, and all money and material possessions are evil and will always lead to sinful decisions.

Yehovah is no respecter of persons, and His decisions will always be the best for a believer. Holiness and righteousness, along with obedience to the Holy Spirit is always how He chooses workers for His Kingdom. Most bad Bible ideas benefit the people in charge that came up with the bad theology.

It is really hard to lead religious people, without the help of the Holy Spirit, so some basic control rules were setup to keep people from getting out of hand and going directly to Yeshua for His help and guidance.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life, and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
