We’ve got some troubling news about men's health and fitness—or people’s physical health in general—that you may already know about, or maybe not. But for now, I’m going to focus on men.

Testosterone levels in men have been consistently dropping over the past couple of decades, according to PubMed – National Library of Medicine. This trend is clearly unfavorable, as testosterone plays a massive role in regulating male mood, mental health, and the overall stability of mind and body.

I've been a health and fitness author, trainer, and corporate fitness consultant for many years, and I fully understand the importance of proper testosterone levels in men. To put it plainly: men with low or imbalanced testosterone can be a danger to themselves and others. That’s because when testosterone is off, it's harder for a man to regulate his emotions.

Unfortunately, medical journals rarely tell the full story about men’s mental health decline, partly because much of their research is backed by people who don’t want the public to be fully informed. So when these medical articles are released to the public, you must assume that information is being omitted—and that bias may be steering you away from the truth.
