Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence | Heavenly Host Session | Ancient Hymn Reborn in Christian Metal
⚔️ Let all mortal flesh keep silence, and with fear and trembling stand.
This ancient hymn doesn't begin with us, it begins in Heaven.
Drawn from the 4th-century Liturgy of Saint James, Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence is a cry of awe before the Incarnation, when Christ our God descends to earth veiled in flesh and becomes present in the Eucharist. But it is also a vision of the heavenly liturgy. Before the Lamb appears, the six-winged seraphim cover their faces, the cherubim fall silent, and all of creation stands still.
"At His feet the six-winged seraph,
Cherubim with sleepless eye,
Veil their faces to the Presence,
As with ceaseless voice they cry:
Holy, holy, holy Lord."
The Heavenly Host Session reimagines this scene not with thunder alone, but with layers of sacred intensity. Still grounded in Christian metal, this version expands the sound into a towering wall of reverence. The angelic host doesn’t just appear, it surrounds, envelops, and silences.
This version is more than a remix. It is the same fire, arranged in solemn procession. The pace is deliberate. The tone is sacred. The weight of glory falls like incense over stone.
The Heavenly Host Session invites you to step deeper into the vision, to see not only the throne, but the hosts that gather before it.
