The Stigma of Suicidal Ideation

In this video, I discuss how the mental health industry pathologizes suicidal ideation, a line of thinking that may, at least in some cases, be a normal response to difficult life circumstances. This falls in line with the broader “mental health stigma” conversation, and the mental health industry’s capacity to label and treat normal human behavior and cognition as diseased.
