Todd is back at the griddle serving up a big country breakfast featuring pancakes, ham steak, sourdough toast, and his cinnamon sugar apple recipe. It’s a comforting, hearty spread that brings the flavors of tradition straight to the table.

Ingredients
1 honeycrisp apple, cut into slices
2 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1 cup of apple cider
1 tsp cornstarch
1/8 cup pecan pieces

Directions
1. Preheat Blackstone griddle to low heat.
2. Place a cast-iron skillet on the warm griddle. Add butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the skillet, stirring as it melts. Mix in the apple slices.
3. In a bowl, whisk together apple cider and cornstarch. Add some to the apple mixture and continue stirring while heating to a simmer.
4. Add pecan pieces and mix them in. Let simmer until apples are cooked through.
5. Remove from the heat and enjoy!
