We first saw Volkswagen do this by charging a subscription to gain all the horsepower from their newest vehicles. But now, we are seeing it with other companies as well. In this video I talk about a number of stories.

First, I talk about this company called Futurehome, which recently went through some financial troubles and is now trying to force their already existing customers to pay them a subscription to access what they already purchased.
