The John Cady Podcast Episode 22: Why I am a Former Minister

Leaving a ministry where I thought I was doing God's work and building His kingdom wasn't easy. As I became more involved with the inner circle, I saw things that were totally wrong and didn't line up Biblically. After attempts to introduce reform failed, I had no option but to walk away.

My observation about why people leave or are forced to leave religious organizations has three main reasons: refusing to go along with covering up misconduct, concerns over finances, and not being open to discuss areas of disagreement.

I know I'm not alone. Many believers like myself struggle to find a church home because of these and other problems churches need to resolve.
