Song Lyrics: "The Rejected Light"

[Verse 1: Narrator’s Proclamation]
From the Word at time’s dawn, God spoke through His Son,
All things made by Him, life’s light begun.
In darkness He shone, but you turned away,
Faux heirs of Abraham, lost in your sway.
Zechariah foretold, “They’ll look on Him pierced” (Zech. 12:10),
Yet you mocked the Christ, your hearts unrehearsed.

[Chorus: Narrator’s Rebuke]
O faithless ones, you claim Abraham’s name,
But Jesus declared, “You’d know Me, no shame” (John 8:39).
The Bread from above, Light you couldn’t bear,
Stones raised, hearts hardened, you cast Him to despair.
Believe and rise forever—He’s the Door!
Deny, and face the wrath forevermore.

[Verse 2: Jesus Speaks]
“I AM before Abraham, eternal I stand” (John 8:58),
“My works show the Father, His truth in My hand.
You say you know God, but His voice you’ve not heard” (John 5:37),
“Search Moses’ words—they testify of My Word” (John 5:39).
Your fathers’ prophets spoke, yet you close the gate,
Blind to My light, you choose a darker fate.

[Verse 3: Narrator’s Witness]
He fed five thousand, broke the barley bread (John 6:12-14),
Healed blind eyes with clay, raised Lazarus from dead (John 9:6-11, 11:43-44).
Yet you, synagogue sons, called Him devil-possessed (John 8:52),
Murmured at His claim, “From heaven I’m blessed” (John 6:41-42).
Zechariah’s voice cries, “Jerusalem weeps” (Zech. 14:2),
For nations will gather, your ruin in heaps.

[Chorus: Narrator’s Rebuke]
O faithless ones, you claim Abraham’s name,
But Jesus declared, “You’d know Me, no shame.”
The Shepherd laid down His life for His sheep (John 10:11),
But you cry “Crucify!”—your sin runs deep.
Believe and rise forever—He’s the Door!
Deny, and face the wrath forevermore.

[Verse 4: Paul Speaks]
Paul’s pen burns fierce: “You killed the Christ, your Lord” (1 Thess. 2:14-15),
“Rejected the prophets, your hearts ignored” (Acts 7:52).
You boast of the Law, yet slay the Righteous One,
Your fathers’ blood-guilt now stains the Son.
“Had you known the Father, you’d know His Seed” (John 8:19),
But you choose Barabbas, let the King bleed (John 19:15).

[Verse 5: Betrayal and Cross]
In Cedron’s garden, Judas brought the band (John 18:3),
Torches lit, they bound the Son of Man.
Pilate found no fault, yet you screamed for death (John 19:6),
“Crown Him with thorns!”—mocked His final breath.
On the cross He hung, pierced for your sin (John 19:34),
“Behold your King!”—but Caesar you’d win (John 19:15).

[Verse 6: Revelation’s Judgment]
Revelation’s seals break, Jerusalem falls (Rev. 11:13),
Her streets run red as the angel calls.
“Fallen, fallen is Babylon’s pride” (Rev. 18:2),
Your hardened hearts left no place to hide.
The Lord treads the winepress, His wrath burns bright (Rev. 19:15),
For you spurned the Light, chose eternal night.

[Bridge: Jesus’ Final Plea]
“I came as your Light, to save, not to damn” (John 12:46-47),
“Love one another, as I loved the lamb” (John 15:17).
Yet you hate My name, as you hate My kin (John 15:23),
Your sin remains—you’re blind within (John 9:41).
Isaiah warned, “Your eyes shall not see” (Isa. 6:10, John 12:40),
Turn now, or face the Judge’s decree.

[Verse 7: Resurrection Triumph]
Mary wept at the tomb, saw angels in white (John 20:11-12),
“Rabboni!” she cried—He rose to the light (John 20:16).
The grave couldn’t hold the Alpha and Omega (Rev. 1:8),
He reigns forever, your rejected Savior.
His deeds fill the heavens, too vast to write (John 21:25),
Believe in Him, or perish in night.

[Outro Chorus: Final Rebuke]
O stubborn hearts, Isaiah’s curse holds true,
Blinded by pride, you slew the King of Jews.
Paul cries, “You killed Him, yet He rose again!”
Alpha and Omega—His reign won’t end.
Believe, be raised, or face the final flame,
“I AM the Light!”—He calls your name.
