Apology with a Jibe.

After being proved wrong and berated into apologising, @SQU_EEZE finally caved in — but not without sneaking in a jibe on the way out.
Here’s what they wrote:
“I am sorry. I fully accept that Shellie Mote is defending you, a man who has a lifetime court protection order on you not stalk a certain woman.”
To which I replied, bluntly:
“Incorrect. Again. Get your facts straight and then try again.”
Because, let’s be clear here: the person @SQU_EEZE is referring to obtained a lifetime court order preventing me from blogging about them, not stalking them. That’s a million miles away from a “protection order not to stalk.” It’s a distortion, a twisting of the truth to fit the smear campaign.
Now, if @SQU_EEZE is actually referring to a different person altogether, then yes — technically, there was a Stalking Prevention Order (SPO). But even then, context matters. That SPO was obtained during Covid lockdown, when I wasn’t present in court and had no legal representation. It was railroaded through in my absence.
And let me make this crystal clear: I have never stalked anyone in my life. Not now, not then, not ever. Regardless of what’s claimed, the accusation doesn’t make it true.
But this is how trolls like @SQU_EEZE operate: deny, distort, deflect. Even when forced into an apology, they lace it with poison.
And just to round it off, there’s the charming contribution from @Disney Rumours, who decided to add:
“Matt owes the world an apology for just being in it.”
Infantile, nasty, predictable. The usual script.
The truth remains though: Shellie confirmed her comment, @SQU_EEZE was wrong, and their attempt at an apology only exposed their desperation to keep throwing mud, even when cornered.
