The Destruction and Desolation of Babylon America - A Mad Max Post Apocalyptic World

After Jesus was severely beaten to the point of being unrecognizable and made to carry His own cross to His own crucifixion, He saw some women weeping for Him and He said this:

Luke 23:28-31 KJV — But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Even though Jesus was in severe pain and being put to death for us, He warned them that what was coming to Jerusalem would be worse. Notice how He said - if they do these things in a green tree, what will be done in the dry? Understand that a green tree brings life and abundance to its' surroundings and the people and animals in the area. But when a tree becomes dry, it does not produce anything useful for the animals to survive. It is the same for when a nation is under the judgment of God. When times get hard and life becomes painful and people become more desperate — then evil begins to increase exponentially. If they were willing to beat and mock and crucify an innocent man - their own Messiah, when all was well, what evil will they do when the harsh judgment begins and everyone is hard pressed?

Now in context, Jesus was warning Jerusalem of the judgment to come, but this warning I believe also applies to the final 7 year tribulation period that is soon to begin.

When the famine hits, the grid fails, money loses its' value, oil and gas are dried up, peace is removed, and the total collapse begins, it is like a tree that has become dry and barren. At this time there is much lawlessness and the tree is still relatively "green," but soon there will be less resources, everything will get tighter and more tense, and lawlessness will increase and catch fire. Likewise, Jesus warned us that because sin would increase many would become cold and without love or compassion during the Tribulation and just before it:

Matthew 24:12 KJV — And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

We see it is beginning now, and yet soon, when the Four Horsemen begin to ride, many will say it is better to not have had children, for those who have will see their sons and daughters go through terrors that should not be spoken for they are too evil. Evil men will become even more desperate and evil, and what little light was there will become pitch black.

Let us all pray that God's hand of protection will be upon us and our loved ones when the judgments begin.
