A Misstep or a Marvel? - Ferrari 348

Buongiorno! :D

Very much a personal favourite from Ferrari, the 348 was built to drag the brand into the 1990s as its many increasingly outdated offerings started to be outshone by a new crop of models like the Honda NSX, which pushed liveability and sophistication higher up the priority list while still appealing to traditional sports car drivers with drama, styling flare and incredible high speed technology.

Sadly, the Ferrari 348, upon its launch in 1989, received a harsh reception due to its twitchy handling, its comparatively lacklustre performance and styling that appeared to be very much a product of the mid-80s and not the emerging 1990s, and despite the implementation of updates and modifications to rectify these early concerns, the mud truly stuck to the 348, and it has often been regarded as one of the worst Ferraris ever built, despite the fact that last of the line models could easily prove themselves in the same manner as the much vaunted F355 that replaced them in 1995.
