Drunk Girl, Questionable Choices

Every so often, this memory pops into my mind.

I wonder if she even remembers it.

If she does, I wonder how she views what she did today.

It would be nice if this was how life is supposed to be; that safety is a product of society.

Unfortunately, we have to live in fear, because humans don’t always look out for one another.

All too often, people actively take advantage of situations.

Thankfully, for her, I was driving on that particular road, on that particular night.
