519 The Shroud of Turin

Recently programs about the Shroud of Turin have been filing my feed. In the 1980s when Carbon 14 testing dated the Shroud in the same age range as its first confirmed existence, I dismissed it as an elaborate hoax. But recent information has caused me to revisit the issue. Is the Shroud the burial cloth of Jesus? Is it fake? Would it impact my faith if it were proven to be either?
