🇨🇦 Nova Scotia: Uranium, Land, and “Climate Policy”

What’s happening in Nova Scotia looks like a classic land grab wrapped in green language.

For decades, uranium mining was banned in Nova Scotia because of its devastating health and environmental consequences. Uranium contaminates soil, water, and air with radiation, and radon gas is the second leading cause of lung cancer in Canada. Everyone knew it was too toxic to touch.

But in 2025, under the guise of climate policy and “critical minerals for the green transition,” the government suddenly lifted the ban. They say it’s still “restricted,” but once the door is cracked open, it’s only a matter of time before the corporations walk right through.

Here’s what’s suspicious:
• Uranium has now been added to the “critical minerals” list — which means foreign and corporate investors get priority access.
• The state has already identified and mapped out areas (3,000+ acres) for uranium “exploration.” This overrides the rights of landowners and threatens Indigenous communities who have not been properly consulted.
• Doctors, municipalities, and citizens are overwhelmingly against it, but their voices are being sidelined.

This is how it always works: rebrand toxic mining as “green,” label it part of the climate agenda, and then use it to strip land from people under the banner of progress.

There's only one area of Canada they don't spray with Roundup Glyphosate from the skies, as chemtrails.
