Gen 12:1-2 The LORD had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others.

How are we called to GO OUT?

IN SEPARATION, SURRENDER AND SANCTIFICATION.

IN SEPARATION: Heb 11:8 NLT It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going.

The question is: are we willing to answer the call of God?

IN SURRENDER
Will we completely lay down our own sense of unworthiness and release our own way of thinking, allowing GOD to do exactly what he desires?
Are we willing to surrender our own ignorance and resistance to what God has designed for our life? Will we lay down the excuses? I am too old, I don’t have the credentials, my family will reject me, I don’t have the money and on and on...

IN SANTIFICATION:
We are to go out on the assignment God has called us to. To accomplish the job, we must place God between our own human mind and the difficulty that may lie ahead. We are also to remember that Jesus did not rebuke his disciples for their mistakes, but he did rebuke them for not having faith.
What our words proclaim and our actions achieve reflect our level of faith.
James 4:7-10 paraphrased “…humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God, and God will come close to you… humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor.”

In this season we are all called to a unique assignment to reflect the goodness and glory of God.
Regardless of how “impossible” we think what God is calling us to do in our own mind we must remind ourselves that “nothing is impossible with God” Luke 1:37
