Lebanon is mentioned in Habakkuk 2:17 because Lebanon was a region in the promised land known for its majestic cedar trees -- trees of Lebanon were also used in the construction of Jerusalem's Temple (1 Kings 5:6); in fact, the Temple itself was referred to as Lebanon in Zechariah 11:1 "Open your doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour your cedars." This is why the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 C.E. is shown in the video when Habakkuk 2:17 appears on the screen. Both the destruction of the Temple and the destruction of the region could be referred to at the same time in Habakkuk 2:17. The region of Lebanon was often exploited for it's resources, suffering deforestation and environmental degradation when Israel's enemies would invade and destroy the promised land. Deforestation and environmental degradation go hand in hand with the destruction of animals and their natural habitat, which is also referred to in Habakkuk 2:17; animals like bears and lions (1 Samuel 17:34, 2 Samuel 23:20, 2 Kings 2:23-24, etc.) that once inhabited the promised land no longer dwell there today. In regards to Habakkuk 2:5, it refers to how the enemy has taken captive the entire world and is a tyrant over all nations, but this is especially true of the Israelites/black slave descendants who were literally taken captive during the Arab Slave Trade, Transatlantic Slave Trade, etc. and remain in their literal captivity/exile unto the present day; "...the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against Me, therefore hid I My face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword. According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid My face from them. Therefore thus says YAH ALMIGHTY; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for My holy Name;" (Ezekiel 39:23-25)
