How Experiences Shape Beliefs — and Beliefs Shape Nations

One of the most important things I’ve learned is this: experiences shape beliefs. If you go through the school system today, you're not just being educated—you’re being indoctrinated, and those experiences are forming how you see the world. Beliefs lead to decisions, and decisions produce outcomes—so when you see division in America, it’s often rooted in different experiences that shaped very different beliefs. That’s why people like Trump and Musk respond to problems in radically different ways—because their life experiences shaped how they think change happens. And in your own life, it’s vital that you occasionally stop and examine your belief system—because if you’re not rooted in truth, you’ll create beliefs just to satisfy your need for certainty, and that’s where people fall into deception.
