What Is TASA?
The Terra Australis States Assembly (TASA) is a grassroots movement aiming to establish a system of self-governance by assemblies, rooted in what they call the "land and soil jurisdiction" of Terra Australis.
TASA describes itself as an unincorporated, unlicensed, non‑authorised group—not recognized by existing governments or legal frameworks. Its members say they are fulfilling what they see as a "public duty" following the dissolution of the British Commonwealth.
The movement began publicly in early 2024, with state-level assemblies "called into session" around 12 January 2024, and from there a growing network of local and regional assemblies formed.
