REMEMBER THE REVELATION OF THE LORD AND LIVE

The pages of the Bible are full of promises and commandments, given to us for blessing and guidance. However, it's an impossibility to digest them with any understanding at one time or one meal, as we would say. Through my experience and walking with the body of Christ, I have discovered that each of us has a set of scriptures that have become foundational to our walk.
These are the verses that we often return to in our thinking and perhaps our confessions. Somewhere along the way, God made them real to us, and it became a revelation of truth. Because of that, they have framed our faith in God.
Because we are fearfully and wonderfully made, each of us has a particular calling and talents from God. Because of that, the Bible speaks to us individually about those specific callings.
Among the many scriptures that have become my foundation, I can identify three that are frequently repeated.
Deuteronomy 28, verses 1 to 14, became foundational in my early faith walk. I lived in those verses for months at a time until it became a fact that if I would diligently obey the voice of the Lord and be careful to pay attention to his commandments, the blessings of the Lord would come upon me.
A second verse that came alive to me as I began to minister to people and walk in faith is Jeremiah 2911. For I know the thoughts that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and a hope.
I stood on those promises more than I can remember, as God began to shape me into his image.
A third one that is bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh is Philippians 4:8.
This scripture has been a constant reminder and a guide for me as the Holy Spirit shapes my spirit, my man, and my natural man. This first taught me how to think and what to think about. The promise of that versus if I would do what he commanded, the God of peace would be with me.
