Paradise Road - Joy

"Paradise Road" is a 1980 hit song by the South African female vocal group Joy, consisting of Felicia Marion, Thoko Ndlozi, and Anneline Malebo. Written by Patric van Blerk and Fransua Roos, it became a South African classic, topping the Springbok charts for nine weeks from August 1, 1980. Often regarded as an unofficial anthem, its hopeful message resonated during the apartheid era, foreshadowing a brighter future
