Ephesians 4:7-16

Chapter 4 of our study began with the apostle Paul exhorting believers to walk worthy of our calling in Christ. Being unified as the body of Christ, we are to mature in the unity of the faith and in the knowledge of Christ, until Christ is fully formed in each of us. Jesus descended from heaven, took on the form of man, humbled Himself to death on the cross, was buried and raised on the third day! When He ascended back to heaven, He gave gifts (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers) to equip the saints for the work of service and the building up of the body.
